Pathfinder Headlight Relay Location?

Okay I am stumped.

The 89 Pathfinder is acting up in the headlight department. I keep burning out bulbs but only after replacing the third one did I think it was something other than bulbs. Seems when the rpms get up to a certain point the bulbs blow.

Fuses are ruled out since they are the right Amps and are working.

I think the problem may be a faulty headlight relay but my ever so helpful Haynes manual doesn’t tell me where it is for my model year and of course nothing is labelled under the hood or under the dash. Now I am wondering if there actually IS a relay for this model.

Anyone have any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Could a tempermental alternator be contributing to this? All electrical systems see to be working properly although things like the heater fan blows harder when the rpms go up.
