You have all heard about the horrific plane crash just outside of Buffalo on February 12. One thing that some might forget is a family is left without a husband/father and without a home. Someone has started a petition to get Extreme Home Makeover to rebuild a home for the family, the Wielinksi family. I think it is a great idea. Repost, and no that’s a terrible idea. The wife’s going to get such a fat check from Continental that they’ll be able to build a nice house that isn’t on spot where her husband died, under the flight path that will constantly remind her of what happened.

Extreme Home Makeover really should be used for people who cannot afford to make necessary changes to their homes. These people will be able to afford ANY house in/around Buffalo after this is over.
What about the neighbors house that has to be demolished due to it being in dis-repair? They may not have lost a family member, but they also lost their home…
It was also Clerence I’m sure they aren’t hurting for cash in that neighborhood.

There is no way they can live in the flight path and rebuild and just move on and not fear every time a plane goes buzzing over. I bet they manage to move and buy a house somewhere else.
I have delivered to this neighborhood quite a few times, it is not the wealthier side of Clarence. Not poor, but certainly not loaded.
