There is a difference between buying something you feel is worth wile and something that you don’t see the value in. Apps have no perceived value to the every day man. That and most of them are junk. Every dumb ass with a basic programming degree is making shitty apps that do shit. So while it’s a humerus bit, it really isn’t an accurate comparison.

I completely agree, but how many people (tech savy), will avoid paying the $.99 for a worthwhile app. Most, including myself, will find other means to get that app.

I pay for apps. I’d rather send the money to the developers so they are encouraged to continue to develop quality products. We all know there is plenty of shit out there.
