the shop i went to in ohio to get the rx7 dyno tuned they al had them on the front and back of the cars plates
they say they work cause the detectors need a flat surface to pick up the signal and putting the beveled cover over the plate reflects the signal…i thought it was bs but all the cars in the lot had them on!

Does Pittsburgh even have those camera thingys? Out here in hickville we can’t even afford to fix the roads, let alone take pictures of the cars using them.

um what? they are to deflect the devices that take a picture of your license plate… they don’t make your car invincible
It said somewhere on there, the radar bounces off the license plate.
Couldnt radar just bounce off the car also?

It looks like it just works by making a glare over your plate that the camera will pick up. Is there more to those things than that?
but some of them only hide half of your plate if the take that and a desp. of your car your still fucked and then you can get nailed for the plate cover too. I think the spray would be a good idea but how would you test it I don’t know still not worth it
