thanks for the help and i will be looking into the lowering for sure, if i do that I’m for sure looking for a winter beater so i dont have a wonderful time driving home from holiday valley all the time next year in blizards. i think 20 times i got stuck in a blizard on the way there and back out of maybe 30 times.
So this weekend was the decider for the molding, decided clearly to remove it. also with the debadging i decided to do the back a little different. I removed everything from the doors to get a nice clean look, on the back i decided to remove the mazda part of the left trunk where it said mazda6 and now I just have the 6 there
To an untrained eye or just a regular look over, you dont see any paint fade, for myself if you hit the right angle or point it out to someone, you can see a minor darker spot where the molding was, but honestly nothing bad at all
also came across this yesterday on my way into petco. oh man do I wish I had the money for one!

Nice man, that 6 has to go though, being different isn’t always good. When I scan over the car it just grabbed my eye right away, and it looks out of place.
