Pick one V. s2k or 350z

you’re a nissan humper ^

I’m not reading the whole thread, but I’ve had a hard-on for the S2000 since the moment I first saw it. It’s on my list…

So with that, I say, hands DOWN…the S2000.

I fully respect the 350Z, for a couple reasons, but it just never did too much for me…

S20000000000000k

neither…370Z is the way to go…

that’s all? that kinda sucks…i thought they were tougher than that.

I think the S2000 would be more fun to track than a 350Z. On the street, that could be a different story. I, like many other people have said, just have a thing for the S2000 and just think it’d be an awesome little car.

Was going to mention that but his price range eliminates that option.

his $12K price range eliminates all options in this thread…unless he wants 100K+ miles and something beat to shit…i’m with 2TurboZ, doubt this will ever happen especially on said budget and knowing said individual still owes $20K elsewhere…why not be smart and put the $12k you apparently have laying around toward debt?

well then he should get the S2K CR shouldnt he. too bad both are 25k+ over his limit

s2k

i’m assuming this theoretical purchase would be dependent on him selling his current car.

edit: s2k.

:word: I’m thinking ~12k for one of these cars and then 8k for his second car maybe.

s2000. My reason for this is:
1.) They are sexy to the eye
2.) They are tiny and probably fun to drive
3.) Two of my friends own 350 z’s. I am not a fan of the interior, the lack of view of your surroundings and while your driving they seem to be noisy.

Maybe you’ve already read this but, it compares the 2 cars (along with others) s2k comes in 1st, Z in 2nd.

I’m more of a fan of the Z just for being a little bigger, I couldn’t drive something as small as the s2000.

i’ve owned too many honda’s, all of which sucked. the s2k never really did it for me. i’ve driven them, not going to lie they do handle great and are a blast to drive, but i wanted something different so i got a 350z. the z is a blast to drive don’t care what anyone says, the amount of torque over the s2k makes it worth it. if i want to rev to 9k, i’ll take out my bike and rev to 16k.

I drive a Z and I work for honda. I LOVE the torque in my z, it actually get up and goes without putting my foot all the way to the floor. I drive s2k’s every day and i was considering one when i bought my car…I def made the right choice. Z is mor comfy, waaay more room. I am only 5’7’’ and I sometimes have a hard time getting in and out of an s2k especially with the top up. I have no complaints with my car and ive owned it 1.5 yrs. However both are good quality cars, either is a good choice.

Z

V

as in CTS-V

Wtf @ an s2k not being powerful? Sooo you’d rather tow with your sports car than actually go fast? An s2k is sooooo much faster than a Z roadster and it handles better. I know a few people that do/will daily driver theirs in the summer and I’ve never heard of any comfort issues. Visibility with the top up is still a ton better than a 350z.

The Z does offer more luggage room and the initial warranty Nissan offered was 2 years longer than on a comparable s2000.

However for 12k I’m not sure what you’ll be getting yourself into. Probably you’ll never buy either. But if you’re buying any performance car with 80,000 on the clock… you better know who drove it before you :open_mouth:

In a straight line my car would crush a stock s2k. I have driven both cars. Thanks for playin though

They’re both low 14 second cars. Who the fuck cares.

Luggage room isn’t that much better in the Z. The S2000 trunk is surprisingly roomy and the 350z hatch is…not that great.
