Theres something about a 2000 with a hardtop that I just love.
agreed ahrdtop s2000s are nice. I like the design of the g35 more then the 350z

best motoring international had a Hot Version where they tested the Esprit S2000 vs the Esprit Z33. it was dubbed the “ultimate FR challenge”. both cars were like 250 kilos lighter than stock; carbon doors, hood, trunk, had suspension, exhaust etc.
they ran at Ebisu circuit, and having uphill and downhill portions really showed the S2000’s lack of power. the Z33 beat it good. the drivers were expecting the S2000 to catch up in the downhill braking sections and in the high-speed S turns. no go; the Z33 wasn’t any slower in the corners or downhill.

Well maybe they should have tested it against a Amuse R1 titan instead then. AJ-R Actually won the Superstreet time attack with there S2K… and they were up against tuners from all over north america and japan.
the Amuse R1 titan AP1 vs the Amuse Carbon R(34) would be a closer match. the Esprit cars were mildly modified in comparison.
