So, I was doing some Car Math, AND LOOK AT THE RESULTS.

the Amuse R1 titan AP1 vs the Amuse Carbon R(34) would be a closer match. the Esprit cars were mildly modified in comparison.[/quote]

… Meh, drive what you like, and let the other people drive what they like… Does it really matter? And if you say yes, then you show that your shoe size is probably higher than your age…

S2K = Chick car. I don’t care how it performs. Same as a miata with 400 hp. It’s still a miata and I’d never own one.

At least the 350 Z looks like it’s worth as much as it costs.

beeeeeeeeeeyaaaaaaaahhhhhhh trust turboed miata!!!

Obviously you have not seen the interior of a 350z. That plastic looks like cheap recycled crap IMO. The S2000 is a drivers car, just like the miata. To get the full potential out of it you have to know what your doing. That’s why its not for everyone.

lol i love how all the s2000 fans backlashed with google pics

but in all honesty i’d take an s2k over a 350 any day. unless the 350 had an rb26 in it…

You missed my point. The interior has nothing to do with it looking like a chick car or not.

In the end it’s just my opinion and I’d never buy one. I just love to see Honda fanbois get all worked up when they see anything nnegative written about their beloved S2K.

:E

Have you had the chance to drive both close to the limit. Personally I liked the s2000 more, it just felt more reponsive to my imput. The only real draw back I found with the S2K was that you have to rev the piss out of it to get into the power… Its basically a race engine though… so I am fine with doing that all day long.

blah blah blah who cares. Thy’re both great cars and thats the bottom line. Cant wait for the new supra 450 HP drives like a boat. JDM Muscle cars rule.

Its great to see you had something to say that was relevant to the thread.

“Thy’re both great cars and thats the bottom line”

if that is not relevant enough what is.

The fact of the matter is this is turning into a stupid battle between Honda Fanboys and Nissan Fanboys on a NISSAN Fanboy forum(wtf!).

Tell what me so relevant about this argument?

^^^

yeah pretty much.

I don’t have to drive a car to know I wouldn’t buy it either. I only test drive cars I am willing to invest some money into. An S2K ain’t ever going to be on that list. Nothing against anyone who owns one. That’s why we have options in cars, so we don’t have to drive a car we think is overpriced for what it is and how it looks.

I am sorry but any car guy would rather have a S2k over a sentra. Its basicly saying “Have a sports car, or a family car” Granted your is probably the most done up (never said nicest) you still have to realize it is an Economy sports car. And mine is a 13 Year old car.

haha, see what I mean. I say that I don’t like an S2K and it turns into a personal shot at my own car. I love it.

Keep it coming. Oh and let’s find where I said I was comparing my car to a a S2K or a 350Z? This thread is about S2K vs 350Z right, not about Sentras. Do you really think I believe it’s in the same class? I’d have a pretty skewed perspective on reality if I actually thought that. Sure, I can blow the doors off either one stock, but that’s not the point of the thread now is it?

I’m going to subscribe to this one just to see how much more support we can get for a Honda on a Nissan forum while bashing other Nissans at the same time. Priceless.

Why is support for a Honda on a Nissan forum a bad thing? Just because the forum is Nissan focused doesn’t mean the users limit their experiences to that brand. I drive all brands of car whenever possible just to experience them. Perhaps some people would rather have an educated conversation about the attributes of comparable cars. Then get in a big group and pray to NISMO the god of all cars and tell everyone else they are retarded because they don’t feel the same way you do.

i personally love both the s2k and 350z… and the prices for s2k these days are getting cheap so i dont know why anyone is saying its overpriced. in convertible form the s2k looks 100 percent better than the convertible 350z. if i had to choose a sports car in the 25-35 k range then the s2k will be my first choice. if i had to choose between both of them at all i would choose the 350z simply cause it looks more well designed in and out.

i didn’t say anything about who should drive what. 8) i personally would take a stock Z33 over a stock S2K because i could atleast drive the Z in the winter without having to pay $4000 for a roof.

modified on the other hand, it has been quite the dilemma imo. there are beautiful examples of the S2K out there. the Amuse AP1 touge monster, and the MCR S2K are what i’d consider “attainable” machines. not to mention we don’t have a road course here in WPG, AP1>Z33 in auto-x. so what would i be able to “use more of?” definitely the S2000.

none of my friends in our club are nissan guys, and so they’re on the fence about S2000 vs 350Z as well. half of them say the S2K is a girly car like people on here believe, but the fact is that it handles superbly, and with a hardtop, i think it looks better than the Z. exterior and interior are nicer. the Z is more practical, has more power and handles on par with the S2000.

anyway, my point is i have thought long and hard about both cars, and wouldn’t hate on anyone for buying either. maybe it’s because i’m 29 and more understanding than some kids on here, or maybe it’s because i watch too much BMI Hot Version videos to know better than most of you. :butthead:

I’d go s2000 all the way. If you want a track car, you can’t argue with the light weight and high reving engine. With an aftermarket suspension set up, watch out!!!

I love how these forums are really great for continuing to take what people say out of context. I did give my opinion about the S2K. Someone else tried making it personal because they didn’t agree with my opinion.

But it doesn’t matter really in the end, because I don’t take the internet that serious.

Starting price for an S2K is $50k. I don’t exactly call that cheap. The convertible Z isn’t nearly comparible to the styling of the hardtop. Just my opinion of course.

oops sorry i meant to say if i was to look for a car in the USED car market then under 30 k the s2k will be my first choice… a little higher then of course the 350
