that should get you up into the 18’s. :finger:

with all this put on and tuned i should be just beaking 14’s (with a good driver) but i cant launch worth shit at the track

i’ll roll race you tho :booty:

launch it what you do to a car that has power. i’m still confused as to why you can’t “launch” your car.

wheel hop

Not at PRP, you’ll be stuck running a 15.0 unless you go every weekend and get lucky with the track prep.

Plus that manifold’s runners don’t look like they’re ported, that was half the gains on my motor.

their ported to their best he could get them… its hard to get down there

Traction at prp. i talked to a few drivers up there on thursday night they said all they are doing off the line is bouncing cant get no traction what so ever and that includes the bikes

it sucks

yea thats what i seen and hear from the drivers that i know that where up there

that sentance has tooooo many E’s!

I’ve got longer mandrels that can reach in there if you’d like me to check it out sometime.

what is the purpose of a 60mm tb on a NA stock longblock neon?

There isin’t really, i only picked up 1hp (speednation’s dyno) going from 49mm to 57mm.

Most people buy them anyhow shrugs

thats what i thought. larger TBs are good for high rpm cars then need that extra cfm. a low hp/tq motor would be better with a smaller one then a larger one.

in this case he just wasted more money instead of just cleaning up his some with some porting to clear up any factory imperfections

Anything is better than stock :slap:

not in his case. that will probably hurt him. just like when ppl step up to a 70mm for a stang on a totally stock motor

ya i might im gonna go do a little more work to it today…
i’ll let you know

Fortunately (?) the 90 degree bend in the manifold is narrow enough that it won’t hurt power more or less no matter what size TB you have.

I’ve seen you drive right past my house going to wilmerding!

where the hell is wilmerding? lol when did i do this?
