I had recently bought a 91 white T top NX2000 which is lowered and exhaust done. Unfortunatly its way too low for winter. So I just bought another 91 NX2000.
It’s a blue hard top, old guy spent $1400 on rust repair last year, did the A pillars, all wheel wells, and under stock body kit…Its in really good shape, 246000kms, and got it for $2000.
Needless to say I don’t need 3 vehicles. So I’ll be selling the white one if anyone is interested…I paid 1800 for it then put in a pioneer deck in…so basically im looking to just get my money back.
OLD POST
Tommorow I will pick up a 1991 NX 2000…its not the most beautiful car at the moment…has rust, but appears to be surface (in the usual spots)…higher km’s…someone did a hack paint job at some point…but mechanically it feels very solid. Extremly fun little car. I’ll post pics when I get it tommorow
shiny new battery and tires haha…we’ll see how it all turns out, I need to get rid of as much of the rust as I can. Basically general repairs. It has a dent in the drivers side door and quater panal but they arn’t that bad. Hopefully find some parts from a nx 1600 or 2000. The engine has 274,000kms but it runs really well. One thing that surprised me was the gear box, it was ridiculously smooth and the clutch has almost no play…as soonas you let it off the floor it engages ( I hate clutches that you have to release what feels liek 3 inches before you can go)
If it all pans out I’d get it painted, then suspension or engine (engine first if it doesn’t last) it would be a pretty sweet little car, haven’t seen many around
it comes stock with a sr20de ( 140hp 130tq)…Just from looking around the sr20det is quite popular as an engine swap.
One of the most interesting thing I seen was a headlight conversion… they put in some golf projection headlights…there is a small gap on the outside of the housing, but its really small.
It’s a cool hood, when i first wanted a pulsar, it was for that very reason, but that hood is aggressive IMO, and it should have something under the hood to back it up.
You may not need 3 cars but you always need a spare. My wife told me i didnt need 3 cars either so i bought 2 more… apperently that wasnt what she meant
