Piggyback Questions

I have been wondering…are there any benefits to using a piggyback such as E-Manage or an HKS F-CON SZ on very lightly modded car such as my own…basically i would just want to advance timing a little bit and adjust the fuel maps…i know my factory ECU adjusts timing according to knock but i am sure it has limits to har far it will go even if it doesnt detect knock…i dunno what it does with fuel…if it keeps it stoich or rich or what…maybe Newman knows…but any who would something like forementioned products be any benefit…would a AFC be better or would waiting for more aggressive mods be better and then worry about how to manage it…futures plans do fore see the addition of a s/c but nothing to exterme in terms of PSI

correct me if i’m wrong, but i don’t think an e-manage can adjust timing?

emanage ultimate can … you can map your entire timing curve

i will never again allow anyone i know to use an safc for tuning :stuck_out_tongue:

e-Manage can adjust timing u just have to buy another harness

If you don’t need full programibility you can use an Apex’i AFC and an Apex’i ITC. That’ll get the job done.

but for the cost of Apexi AFC and ITC I can have an E-manage or Even an E-Manage Ulitimate…by question is will it be worth it on only a slightly modded car…or should i wait until i boost it with with a S/C

power fc :stuck_out_tongue:

i’ve read a lot of bad things about e-manage fucking up the timing

it’s alright to use just for the fuel maps, but i guess once you start adjusting timing it does some crazy shit.

procede with caution

400 VS 1200 FOR A CURRENTLY N/A CAR…i would if i could Jay

split second psc-1 ftw
