So I recently bought my house and I really loved the oversized one bay it came with. I need some suggestions on what I can do to make it look better/projects for it. I think I’m going to put a TV up in the one corner… get a better air compressor for next to the bench… love to hear your opinions. :ohnoes
easy put some drywall up, paint it gray and red on the bottom and do a floor epoxy
+1 that and lots of cars/naked girl posters, and a kegorator. that and some music is all I really need
are you adopting?
+1 to bright paint. Is that a wall covering or plywood? Hard to tell in the picture.
I say leave the plywood and spend time/money on stuff like tv, couch, tools, compressor, fridge/kegerator. Putting up drywall, tape, spackle, paint… takes a long time. It’s just your garage, not your bedroom. Screw all that detail BS.
paneling or paint the plywood, and some diamond plate and stainless steel. Epoxy coat the floor too
yeah, and definitely get that supra out of there to make some more room. i’ll take it off your hands for ya ;D
Unfortunately not. :crackup
I am so jealous you don’t even know. Thats a sweet garage.
:sad
need a roomate? i’ll sleep in the garage w/ the supra.
he’ll even wax it for ya :ninja :lol
:+1
I say just put a bar in there and leave it be. Alcohol makes working on cars easier. :nod
Fixed.
Impressive garage, got a lot of potential.
Suggestions
- Detailing section or shelves
- Oil supply
- Good tool box
- Plenty of nuts and bolts and pbBlast
- Good friends that will do all the work for ya (Tom Sawyer effect)
build a raised plat form for the supra :nod
dont worry about it !! in a couple of months when the wife runs out room to store stuff in the house, ur shit will be out side and it wont matter what u did too it!!! :confused :nod
thats what you build an incenerator for. :lol
Aww man I know what you mean. I’m building her a shed. Eff her.
Anyway, sweet garage. The plywood would drive me insane and drywall is soooo easy to put up. Applying compound and sanding takes awhile, but is well worth it in the end. Painting the walls with a roller would take no time at all! Couple weekends and you could have yourself a totally different gargae.
i’m with oppie about doing the dry-wall. you can always rent a sprayer from home depot to make the painting easier, my dad used it on his one garage and it came out great. btw congrats on the new house man!
