yeah they are dumb, but it was funny to see an entire store filled with bean bags. if i worked there id never get out of them

they had another just before the squirrel hill tubes heading east. WTF is that all about? Everytime i see one of thos ads i think, wow what a bad location and wow your sign doesn’t sell to dumb ppl and dumb ppl love malls. they need shiny objects, something flashing, or a celebrity. giant billboard fake street signs in mckeesport are no way to make a mall in tarentum work :eek4dance

Thats similar to what I asked the girl working there. I thought I should get some sort of pleasure out of it for that much.
I went there last weekend…the only place I bought something was at Dippin-Dots. Most of the stores look the same…there is what, 3 Pittsburgh sports stores? Definitely NOT worth the drive.
haha I work at the mills everyday, work a verizon dealer, but i gots me a store, i would say this mall is a joke, it did go up for sale in feb. last i heard is that simon’s malls are looking into it?? might be a good thing(advertising)
for as much $$ as the mills corp. has it is a joke the advertising they do, i wanted to find out how much to put up little teepee signs on the food court tables…500$! for two weeks, they are smoking crack, most malls will do this for free or minimal cost (50$)
but hey, cant complain i sit at the internet, play video games, and have an 42"plasma w/ every dish chanel

i been there twice…once with the wife & we walked the mall…i wasn’t impressed…& like someone said, not many stores I would shop @.
I tought it was strange that they didn’t have a GAP…i’m not a GAP person really but my wife goes in there for herself & our kid & she thought it was strange that there wasn’t one in that mall…maybe there is now but when i went before winter there was none.
went back recently with dirty george & gearhead to get a tool @ sears grand…it was like 6-7pm on Sat. walked in got the tool weh to the registers…all 13 or so were closed with a sign that read “the customer service desk is open for checkout” so we walked over check out, paid & walked out…then george or gearhead said…this place is going outta business soon…LOL

I know Zamias was a major partner in Pittsburgh Mills. They’re from Johnstown, and own the Galleria in Johnstown and the Logan Valley Mall in Altoona. The Galleria in Johnstown is hurting because the rent for stores is unreal. All of the good stores are gone. High rent wasn’t offset by enough sales.
That’s another strike against Pittsburgh Mills I think.
