Please help spread the word on forums. STOLEN DSM

ding ding ding

why did he post it here? perhaps he is not familiar that no nice DSM (if such a thing exists) would reside in the upper new york state area.

Wow you guys are fucking ruthless.

Not ruthless…

In all honesty whats the chances of a 1G DSM showing up in WNY from Colorado…

It’s probably in 100000 parts on ebay right now.

This.

I just am entertained that someone in Pennsylvania posted about a car in Colorado being stolen on a NY board

Do you realize how hard it is to find a clean shell in NY? It probably is being stripped, I’m not doubting it but I know of a few friends cars that were stolen and ended up across country where they found nothing but a bare shell in a random lot where it was dumped.

I believe you missed the title of the thread then. “Please help spread the word on forums”

I think if your car was stolen you’d want as much help as possible trying to track it down.

Close minded eh? This isn’t a debate on whether a DSM is reliable or not. Either help or GTFO, your nonsense posts aren’t needed here. This is actually the most reliable DSM I have ever seen. The guy has never once had a problem with it.

OP updated

Hopefully he has insurance. That’s what it’s for.

Good luck finding it. The KBB is probably less than all of the parts, so if I stole it I’d probably part it out and throw the car into the woods never to be seen again.

sweet car.

He does and the insurance is being cooperative about paying for some of his mods since he has all reciepts and very recent pictures of them installed. They won’t cover any of his logger, SAFC, etc though. It’s supposedly suppose to go under home owners but his deductible is 1k and he doesn’t have that much worth of extra things in there.

Cody is a good guy and a friend on another forum, this is why the word is being spread across all forums for him.

Insurance isn’t gonna make up it much for him. Especially one this clean and being priceless, it will be a huge loss.

Hopefully it ended up in the hands of complete retards that didn’t gut it. Highly doubted, since who ever took it was planning ahead.

sweet post.

they’re looking for an eagle talon, not a mitsubushi eclipse.

So he built a car, and didn’t put like an alarm system or LoJack on it?

Protect your investments…

I’ll keep an eye out for it here- I’m sure it’ll turn up in the Capital Region.

Oh wait- I’m not a DSM’r so this doesn’t apply to me.

That is something that has alwaysa entertained me. People pay thousands of dollars for parts for their car and make them unique but never will for over the $600 for a system like LoJack to keep their car protected.

I’ve never had any type of alarm or security system on any of my cars. I live in a city of 20k at home which isn’t all that big but its never once crossed my mind. Maybe after seeing this I will.

Ummmm, just because your not a DSM’er how doesn’t it apply to you? I posted this up because there is a wide automotive community on here hoping some F-bod, honda, etc guys would post in on their boards as I would do the same if anyone else on here posted up a stolen car. I find it pretty pathetic that some people on here say they are automotive enthusiasts but really are just centered on their make and model of car and thats it. It shouldn’t work that way, but pathetically, it does.
