for my grandfather. He has been battling cancer for about the past two years. He went from a weight of 185 down to under 90 lbs now. In the last 2 months, he has been in the hospital more than out. My grandma called me tonight and said she rushed him to the hospital again this morning, and they basically told her it looks like he will soon pass. They are my stepdad (whom I havent spoken to since he and my mother divorced about 15 years ago) parents, but they were the only grandparents I ever really had because the rest passed away before I was born. They pretty much raised me as a child because both my mom and stepdad had to work. Please say a prayer. Im hoping for the best, but things are not looking so good.

I went to see him today and things arent looking good. This morning they called his son/daughter in law because he stopped breathing for a few minutes and they thought they were gonna lose him, but he started breathing again. Luckily he is not in any pain, but the medication is throwing him for a loop. He knew who I was, but he kept telling me there were aliens in his room and the cops were there trying to get them out of his room but the aliens wouldnt let them in. So between the meds and lack of oxygen, hes all loopy. Thank you for your kind words and prayers.

Well, I got the call this morning that he didnt make it last night. My gram got the call around 1am. Of course, I am really sad it had to end this way, but thankful as could be that I got to see him and spend some time with him yesterday. I would hate myself had I not. After seeing him and how thin he was, I know now he is in a better place with the big guy. Thanks again for the prayers and kind words.
