Police Brutality in Braddock

what everyone is failing to realize, is there seems to be a stupidity gene that infects a good number of humans, it’s not going to disappear ever. The ones doing wrong may think the cops are out to get them and thats because they are. Just like dumb asses ruin braddocks reputation there are dumb cops ruining a police officers reputation, good cop bad cop, the ones people usually encounter and get offended by are bad cops, i’ve run into maybe 5 cops that i would actually say are cool guys, the name comes with the job.

jena six says that the media is highly filtered, you are shown only what someone wants you to see, hence why i don’t watch the news or give a hell whats usually on there. One of my co-workers has been deployed for a total of six years…desert storm was one of the places he went, opened a whole new window on what is actually going on over there, completely different from what the media leads you to believe

I will second this because from what i know only a handful of US Steel workers, myself included, still live over here. And it’s not just this area, it’s this city, any city in general, the younger generations are becoming worse, becoming more lazy, and becoming more careless, there are very few people coming up in this world who actually have a good game plan for life

I couldnt say anything as the on duty officer and I have had many heated arguments before… plus I was driving, he knows my car, I was drunk, I was at the bar all night. I was furious inside and my blood was boiling… nothing I really could do, it was within my best interest to just sit back and take it all in.

I was not suprised at all… the offduty cop was a good friends neighbor… he has a street bike ZX-10 and flys around on it all the time, they dont care… whos gonna give him a ticket in Rostraver?

not to be a devils advocate, but what are you doing driving drunk around drunk after being at a bar all night?

you seem to be hellbent on basing all LEO’s…if your rostraver buddy is out zooming around on his zx 10 and runs someone over/hits somebody by accident etc. his ass is done. if he’s out drinking and driving and has an accident he’s done.
It isn’t like the old days where stuff was swept under the rug.

i can tell you no one is above the law while you may think they are and about the only thing cops may be able to get out of and it always doesn’t happen is speeding tickets.

if the dennys incident bothered you that much i would have made a complaint to the dept.
there are bad eggs in every profession.

Braddock= white trash so who cares

DUI… definatly… I have been to the bar multipul times where officers were totally wasted even acting out and just being drunk. They get in their cars… they never have a problem. I have never ever seen a DUI givin to a local officer. My friend is an EMT, he has said many times on high profile people they just squeeze the iv in them to flush them out as best as possiably on DUI cases, etc… its all crooked no matter how you look at it.

if you say so, i have seen it happen, where an officer got pinched for a dui.

i can also name a dept over near here who doesn’t give an eff who you are or who you work for.
would there be a big conspiracy theory coverup if one of those drunk cops would have an accident or hit someone?

But how old are you? You are, I think, 19 or so. You view I’m sure is very skewed from about the time you were 16 and younger. So you have more like 3 years of experience, not 12.

And on top of that, I’m sorry but cops see a hell of a lot more shit going on than you do. You can see something and forget about it or just drive past or do whatever. A cop can’t.

i’ve been living in north braddock for 12 years seeing braddock and parts of north braddock go from an ok area to what it has become

Logik…how is it exactly you are rating N Braddock better than Braddock. Are you basing this on Braddock has more shootings per year. Point being that ANY neighborhood you can rate on multiple shootings per year is a FUCKING SHITHOLE! Have fun debating which HOOD is nicer with yourself b/c it allllll looks the same to me.

As far as the conversation goes on small, high crime departments “making money” on busts - never happens. Most of those departments (Braddock, N. Braddock, Rankin) are all ACT44, Department in Distress - meaning broke and they get government assistance on everything. There is no tax money so the government gives grants for cars, bullet proof vests, weapons ect… ANY dollars seen from % of citation is given back to the state. The district attorneys office is the one who usually does the “busts” in these areas. The cops have their hands full with day-to-day bullshit.

BTW…I put money on that cop is back in office in 1 month - as he deserves to be.

Right and you are probably an officer that would have done the same thing to this guy. Scum
From what i hear the reason why Officers (like you) jump from department to department is because you don’t make shit as far as money is concerned…sounds like a career management problem to me

Oh and your “it allllll looks the same to me” mentality…means your another part of the problem

Also the way you keep loosley referring to “HOOD” is starting to bug me. I live in a borough not a “hood” you can classify zones 1-2-and 5 in the city of pittsburgh as that

Muuuhahhahhaaa I better stop now.

i think brian needs to ban you again

i can honestly say its probably same now as it was in 95. if you want to compare maybe 1980 or so thats a different story.

main change from 95 to now was all the closed down stores on braddock ave were standing in 1995 in dilapidated shape…now they have been knocked down and there are just vacant lots. same more or less goes for a lot of the houses in north brad as well

no no no no no no … .my comment was a comeback to your " a crime is a crime and should be treated like that" comment… you quickly changed ur tune from what you were saying about the jena six… “they should have kicked the white kids ass” etc etc… and all i kept sayin in that thread was regardless what he did “a crime is a crime and should be treated like that” i’m not gonna go as far as to call you a hypocrite but what would you say it is? :dunno:

i still believe he deserved to get his ass kicked for such a stupid thing because from what people down south are saying(not the media but actual people i’ve talked to from down there)is that being in that predominately white town letting the law deal with the kids hanging the nooses would have just been like turning your back on it as if it never happened. I had clearly said in the jena 6 thread multiple times “your make your bed and you have to sleep in it” that applies to both the black kids and the white kid

x2

I used to hear about the hay day of areas like Braddock, wilkinsburg and so forth from my grandmother. How they used to go down there on sundays to shop and what a booming area it was. It is deffinatly not like that anymore and hasn’t been like that in at least 20+ years. Sorry.

New news about the officer… seems he has a little track record, seems he is a true pig just like I assumed. I was watching the news last night and went to Channel 4’s website… here is the copy n paste

Team 4 investigator Paul Van Osdol has learned that Lukart was fired from one police job after getting arrested and left another job under a cloud.

Seven years ago, Lukart was in the news when he was a police officer in Apollo. He was accused of exposing himself to a 17-year-old girl while on duty and charged with attempted indecent assault, corruption of minors, indecent exposure and open lewdness.

There are no court records from the Apollo case, so the outcome is not known. The Armstrong County District Attorney said it’s possible the case was expunged, which would explain why the records from the arrest do not exist.

mmmuuuuhahahahah

I guess all you pigs stick together…
