Police Brutality in Braddock

hell yes you are correct! We should withdrawl cops from your neck of the woods so that all of your neighbors can self regulate life of each other. That way taxpayers wouldn’t have to pay to house these gentlemen.

you can see he is bending down to get into the car, it APPEARS he was meeting verbal orders… therefore no need for physical action. Honestly I am betting the officer was weighed down by his badge and felt the need to assult the guy.

i live in NORTH braddock dumb ass, a completely different neighborhood, i actually have decent neighbors, get your shit straight before you open your cum hole

Ohhhhhh boy… here we go… just a matter of time until this thread goes to complete shit… always does when racism comes into play.

because we all know what zex meant by “your neck of the woods”
fuck that shit wouldn’t have said shit if i lived in mt pleasant or some other area that fuckheads like him designate as “decent”

I saw the report on the news a few days ago. I would agree with both sides here. If the person being arrested did not do anything and was just getting into the police car, the officer had no right to hit him like that. But seeing what kind of shitty area of the city that is, I’m not suprised it happened.

You sir, are an idiot, this happened in BRADDOCK not NORTH BRADDOCK fool. i actually have decent neighbors that work instead of selling drugs, within 1 block of my house there are some hard working people that have things i’m sure you couldn’t afford, before you try and classify where someone lives as a shithole makes sure it’s the same neighborhood that was being referred to at the start of this thread.

Take some vailum already.

Christ.

Did you use the screen name “Sunhawk” before?.

I’m hardly tense or pissed off valium isn’t needed
it’s just dumb people like zex who assume things without any proof, sure i live next to the “ghetto” but every neighborhood has its problems and disfunctional residents

I agree that many cops have bad attitudes. That cop may be one of them.

I agree that we should closely monitor the amount of power we allow police to have over us.

It looks like that scumbag refused to get into the car, so the cop had to move things forward. Cops are allowed to taze an individual who disobeys a verbal command, I would say that fag got off easy.

you didn’t see him attempting to put his left leg in the car before the cop even drew his hand back?

LOL i think zex knows a little bit more about being a cop than anyone of us and more specifically in braddock… but continue conversation… its amusing.

exactly, BRADDOCK, not NORTH braddock
him being a cop<me living in this area for some 12 years, i think i know more of what goes on in this area more than any of the cops around here, remember the saying “the streets talk”? well it’s damn sure not to pigs

SP71 - In regards to the event you were talking about outside of the Denny’s, did you do anything like tell the girl that you witnessed the entire thing, or say something to the on-duty cop, or do anything like that to try and help out the guy that, at least from your story, sounds like he totally got fucked just because he was in an altercation with an off-duty cop?

If you didn’t at the very least say something to the girlfriend that you saw everything and that you’d be willing to help out, then you are just as much part of the problem, not part of the solution.

People are overally sensitive when it comes to cops doing their job that is why people are committed more crimes and the jails and prisons are becoming worse. What the media failed to comment on was whether or not he was a resisting arrest or giving the cop a hard time. Its just a way to get people fired up and get the alleged victim/criminal away with murder. The media also failed to mention that because this biased article the city will be sued, in which case the city will loose money, and this criminal will be set free. Not to mention people will have a sour taste in their mouth regarding cops. Here is a cop risking his life and his career for some criminal. Like usual criminal wins, its a real shame. Responsibility and character are thrown in the garbage.

After reading some of the posts earlier in this thread…

In all honesty it should not matter where you live, obviously places like braddock and homewood make their money off of things like busts and getting those young punks with nothing to live for off the streets, where as places without the problems of such neighborhoods make their money off of traffic violations, speeding and what not(as olds stated earlier) but regardless of the area crime is crime and should be treated as that, sure some cops have let me slide for various crap, driving while under suspension, underglow kits(city cops don’t even care it’s crazy), speeding, excessive noise late night(subs), all the stupid shit you get pulled for when your young, and i’m very thankful for it because i could be in some shit, the cops that let you slide are the ones who aren’t high strung hiding behind their badges and actually take the time to listen to what you have to say instead of yelling/threatening/creating a hostile enviroment…there is no need for a cop to ever put their hands on someone unless they are resisting arrest, being hostile, or were reported armed/dangerous. Unfortunately dumb asses exist on both sides, law breakers and law enforcers

who’s the nieve one? people sell out their grandma to get outta jail time… there’s more people talking to the cops than you think. these people will run up on you and smoke you over nothing and they are above talkin to the police? hahaha… “pigs”? with that attitude of course ur gonna think they are out to get you.

jena six says what?

over the past 30+ yrs of my life i have watched both north braddock and braddock go drastically down hill. at one time it, along with braddock used to be a very decent town full of hard working steel workers. all of my mothers family was from braddock/north braddock. mother grew up there.

my 83 yr old grandmother lives there still in her declining value house b/c the decent people that lived there died off or moved, and she can’t afford to go anywhere else. the new neighbors don’t seem to care about maintaining thier homes and the one literally has 14 inch tall grass. My elderly aunt had a house on lobinger ave that they lived in since the 1940’s. while she was in the nursing home it was broken into on two different occasions…after she died my cousin sold it for $6000 to someone that is now renting it out as section 8

anymore i hate to even go down there it makes me so mad.

with that being said i am by no means defending the officer. if he purposely hit the guy so be it and he should be punished accordingly, but to be bashing these guys, it is a whole diffrent enviorment to say the least down there. i have my act120 certification. work in probation/parole now but when i was pursueing a Police job never even did wanna work down there. those communitys don’t have the tax base to hire guys and pay 40K a year to them. not this officer in particular but i respect the guys that work in those kind of communitys because they definitly aren’t getting rich doing it.

they did say something on the news that the burglar was getting ready to spit on the officer which is assault in itself…but with no audio don’t know how it could be proven or disproven.
