eeeeeeek bro. my biggest fear. good luck homie.
easily avoided problem man , dont get married dumbshit lol
you aint kiddin big homie. Trace always wonderin why I haven’t produced a ring in over 4 years. ***** I’M SCUUUURRED of dat shit!!!
easy enough. compressed air or spiral some rope down in there. works like magic.
I know how to do it, was just curious how he planned on it. I’m personally not a fan of intentionally shoving foreign objects into the cylinder, but it works.
^^ +1. 4g63 is a nut buster to change the springs out with the recessed pockets. I refuse to do it without pulling the head off and locking it down in the machine at the shop. Just my preference, and the same time doing a new HG and some ARP headstuds and rod bolts all at once. 4g63’s love cams though so I’d say that’s the best buy of all that stuff he posted
redrubinride, lols
Rod bolts? Don’t Evo’s make ‘mad’ power on the stock bottom end with head studs?
but I forgot the filter when I was at Walmart so no oil change today.
:rofl
Only you Jellies. Epic.
not a huge deal because it was shitty out today anyway so Ill just grab one tomorrow.
Just extra protection against a mis-shift. Rpm is what kills rod bolts not power.
All evo’s make like 214521462 mad JDM AWHP on the stock 16g according to their owners. You should know this :ninja lol
Absolutely true, just don’t hear of many people doing it. If I was gonna go that far, I’d probably wait until I could build the motor at the same time.
But the redneck at the truck stop held a gun to my face and made me talk all crazy about California and earthquakes.
Actually did buy me some of the Rotella for the scoob, and bought a set of these
I’ve actually only put them in two evo’s with the stock rods…Eric Smiths(EJ Evo on here) because he tracks/auto x’s it, and Justin Mcgraths old Evo 9 MR cause he likes to buy everything under the sun bolt on before selling his cars…
Rotella rules. I use it in all performance applications where the weight is acceptable to use. My friends think I’m joking when I tell them that I use diesel oil in the Vette:haha
Indeed. I’ll take the added high shear load strength with the slight loss in MPG for running 15w40 anyday. Plus it’s dirt cheap and can be found everywhere. Not like going to a Mobile gas station and looking for Mobile 1 for the HHR’s during the OLOA only to find that none of them carry it :palm
