If you have a good set of balls you can charge them without the contraption (AKA resistor or test light) :lol

I guess I need to upgrade. Haha.

But that’s the nice thing about mine. Connect the + and - and it beeped 10 times, charged up to 9v, the beeping stopped, and then it continued to charge to 12v. Took like a minute and a half.
