Post pics of your setup.

  • Optima Yellow Top.
  • Stock headunit with factory trunk mounted cd changer.
  • Stock Bose door speakers.
  • Rear deck speakers removed.
  • Two old school Orion HCCA 12’s in a huge ported box.
  • Logic Soundlabs GSX32 Class D monoblock amp.
  • 8ga wiring.

Hits like a motherfucker. And the door speakers can keep up with it.

I also have a few other rare old school heavy hitter subs laying around in boxes unused.

interesting enclosure design. do you have a cutaway diagram by chance?

No I don’t. It’s just a single chamber ported box. I plan on building a snail shell later, when I have the funds and a garage.

is this a single chamber box?

your only running 8ga? how many rms watts are you pushing?

It could be four. I forgot.

I’m only pushing about 960w if I recall.

I just installed my 1000/1 and 13W7 in my Corolla and it’s the most amount of clean bass that i’ve ever heard out of one subwoofer in my life. Insane!

is that cardboard i see?

yes. Theirs a weird like curve in the sheet metal there that keeps the sub from sitting flat and sealing completely…with the cardboard “gasket” it seals it…I will paint in black in spring when I pull the subs out and fiberglass a box inside there.

weight savings. take it out.

drew, i have a box that drops into the back, if you’re interested let me know

I have an amp rack for an fbody too

is it the sub thump one that goes in the driver side wheel well panel? other wise, my box is already custum built by precision mobil audio for the t-top wheel well for my eclipse sub.

i dunno it just fits in the hump, dont know much about it

pick? I will know from a pic.

Wow, whoever built that thing is the man…

I pulled the amps and everything out of my truck for winter since it doesnt see the road…getting the itch to throw everything back in and go for a cruise, been so long since ive listened to loud music

some of the stuff I did in the last year or so and are for some reason on my work laptop…

simple box for a metalic red Cougar hatch. Slot ported on the side. back had a simple fluch mount amp rack. for a JBL1200.1 if i remember correctly.

This is for sale BTW. 2Cube divided chamber, tuned to 32hz, flush fitting 12" cutouts. Amp rack flushed out Alpine MRD600’s. For a SUV, or a giant ass trunk.

Similar setup to that Yellow GTO:
My 05 Jeep Liberty. 2, alpine type R 12’s. 2 Alpine MRD600’s. Not pictured, 1 4ch Alpine MRD1005 I think it was for the Type X 3 way components front and rear. That amp was mounted in the center of that cage.

My old ranger:
Alpine type r 6.5 comps. glassed door pannels:

4 Earthquake 12"s behind the seat. you could move the seat back 2 click from full back and still recline it. 2 chambers total. 1.25 cube each. 2 speakers per chamber.

Ran that setup off 2 DEI1000D monoblocks daisy chained, 1 ohm load. Comps ran off a matching DEI 4 ch amp. all in a nice amp rack in the bed under the hard tonnau cover.

Same truck i built a pass through setup. same 4 earthquakes in a 12cube ported box in the bed. I have pics of that somewhere too. i dunno though.

that jeep liberty setup is crazy
