Door bars are just to frustrate passengers, and complicate my life.
The cage isn’t 100% done… but halfway through the build I got my own naughty mig welder… so I think I will try my hand at adding on, after I figure out the whole “welding” thing.
^gotta be carefull tho i believe 5 point is the biggest you can go then the cops can say you use it for street racing=impound lot
I’m not positive on this mark… but I think using a mig on a spec cage voids its legality for some racing… but I could be smoking crack.

I do not give a fucck! If I was doing some ridiculous top speed road racing, then yeah… I’d be concerned.
however, on a n/a 16 4age corolla that MIGHT make it to 1-2 drift days this year… I am not worried about it.
P.s. The welds up until this point are all TIG. If I add on, it will be strictly for de bitchez.

^^ I don’t think it matters in most cases anyway and just read through cage specs on a couple of different spec racing series and even NASA CCR doesn’t have any welding “type” requirements, they just specify welded
