Ok can someone explain how you pick which tire for mud/sand or whatever. What size is best, etc. etc.
Also, what is the procedure for doing off-roading? Do you just throw it in 4WD and mash the gas, or do you sometimes use 2WD? Do the trucks have swaybars? Do you need to have solid axles or not?
Just so I can get edumacated on this shit.
2wd: Use unless you think your getting stuck. Use to fishtail…
4wd: for deep mud. Anything that you won’t be able to get out of if you stop.
4lo: pulling or climbing.
Sway Bars- Yes but disconnecting them helps a lot
Solid Axel suspensions are better for articulation but you dont need it
4wd and 2wd depends on the situation but 4wd mostly
Momentum helps
if we had a off road section we could have a helpful tips part and all would be answered:whip:
Hey 98GCL how many miles do you have on your detination M/T’s? I just got mine about 2 months ago and i LOVE um. very quiet n smooth compared to other mud tires but i wanna see how long to expect them to last
Or you could just post it here and all will be answered.
Haven’t we beaten this dead horse already?
wow this is totally off the TIRE topic… if you want i can start a new thread to answer this for you
Or it’s in the topic of off roading, and there is no reason to start a new topic. Other than you acting like a pissy little child who doesnt get to goto McDonalds today.
