amount of gas total is really hard to come close. When I first got her she got about 26mpg than after about 6 months of driving it she went up to 30 avrg. Did a bunch of bolt ons and than it went to 33. Swapped a fully ported head and it went to shit until I got tuned where I got 39 highway.

How are you getting 21 MPG?? I have an 08 sierra 5.3 ext cab Z71 with AFM and I only get 15.5 average. It is mostly thruway miles too, 23k on the truck in 1 year. I don’t have a lead foot, and always set the cruise at 68-70mph.
