Post what you’ll be driving this year for your beater.
This year I have an 01 Maxima.
In previous years I’ve had the following cars:
Winter 05 - 1997 Sunfire
Winter 04 - 1989 Bonneville SSE
Winter 03 - 1991 240sx
Winter 02 - 1988 Supra
I only started needing a winter beater since 04 (the year I got my Z). And just kept my aging 95 Golf CL (i think it’s 95…). My list is pretty short…
Winter 06 - 06 Corolla (auto)
Winter 05 - 06 Corolla (auto)
Winter 04 - 95 Golf CL (manual)
poor golf, I miss it. driving auto in the winter is no fun (well, driving auto in general isn’t fun, but now i dont’ get to play around in the snow!).

haha, that’s exactly why I bought the corolla, i won’t be tempted to mod it! Though the JDM version looks pretty sweet when vip’ed out!
thats insane dude, a vip corrola :R, then the car wouldn’t be consider a winter beater 
heh, it’s not like it’s going to happen anyways, only have enough money to mod one car…so it’s a choice between the Z and the 'Rolla…such a hard decision…
I would totally rock that Corolla if it was forced induction. That’s a good looking car…

1993 25th anniversary Protege GT. Had no idea what it was when I got it as my beater. just found out there were only 500 built and sold in North America. Full JDM interior. Comes with the 1.8 DOHC BP (1994-1997)Miata engine, forged crank and Piston oil squirters…had no idea…

i dont have a winter beater, im using my 240 all year round.
This year i have a 88 Prelude Si, its super clean and ive done a few small things to it so i dont go crazy driving it. Hopefully i will keep it for awhile…

I like beaters… Kinda sad i went through 4 last yr lol.
No beater this year. The Z is in storage, and I’m all over the map (Vancouver for a month, then India, then interviews, blah blah).
Maybe next year when I know where I’ll be, I’ll get an EG or EF Civic to drive into the ground.
