Powdercoat Results

Got my wheels back from powdercoat and snapped a few pics of the results. They came out great, the inside, hub, and face all are perfect! They sure do look great with the black BBS center caps. Can’t wait to slap 'em back on the car.

 to buffalo finishing works

Looks great, cant waint to see em on the car come spring.

sweet…I cant wait to do my first set of wheels

they coated the mounting surface? I would grind that down.

yea…if might mess with the seal

:word: bout time u got these back homie

:sigh: :morans:

very nice… should look good on the car…

Mrs. Geoff’s Mom is probably not thrilled with them being on the dining room table.

ya i would really grind down that mounting surface, it will chip up anyhow once you put some tg on the lug nuts. and you want the mounting surface to be a flat as possible, but they do look really good

they should look really nice on the evo, can’t wait to see it once spring comes around

Elaborate.

oh and it’s “morOns”

Not bad at all.

Very Nice

i liked them better in purple :gotme:

lol, please dont grind anything off. If anything sand or use a chemical. Grinding metal isnt gunna help it sit any better then chipping/uneven paint/powdercoat.

it will seat just fine, though once a small chip begine, it propagates throughout.

looks good man

how much to get something like that done

Since they’re forged aluminum, the shop originally quoted me at $60/wheel due to the need for glass bead blasting as opposed to media blasting.

When I went to pick them up, the guy only charged me $200 flat for all four… :gotme:

and thanks for the heads up, if anything I’ll sand the coat off of the hub surface before they go back on
