I need the shells of two ccw wheels powdercoated… Who would u use
There’s Powdertech and CRC.
Powdertech takes forever
CRC… they did some parts for me, very quick and looks great
CRC
powdertech can suck my dick, those faggots… And CRC is a board sponser, why wouldnt you support the board you belong to? Prolly the best quality regaURDLESS.
Powder work alone at my shop is 4-5 weeks out as it sits. i have a caliper set, 18 wheels, 2 valve covers and other msc parts to do. If it needs a quick turnaround, I might not be able to help.
What do you need exactly, and what color are you looking for?
^But you’re honest!
My buddy took apart his daytona 675 last year to powder coat some stuff and powder tech told him 2 weeks…2months later he finally got his parts done
powdertech told me two weeks for my wheels, they called me 7 months later to tell me they were done, i laughed and hung up… not even exaggerating time frame.
I believe there has been a similar discussion about powdertech being shady on this forum. I personally had my brembos done by them months ago. Told me 2 weeks… Turned into a month. Quoted me at like $150 or something when I dropped them off. Paid over $200 when I picked them up. Them only take cash so beware of that. And if you do go with powdertech for some reason GET A FUCKING QUOTE in writing! I failed to do this. Krazy Kid is being honest about the turnaround time and that would seal the deal for me. Powdertech will dick you around guarantee it. There are numerous people on this forum that gave been giving the run around by powdertech
I beileve it
CRC for sure. The stuff I had powdered came out real nice.
espos powdercoating in staten island is good. did a few of my friends ccws and a set of LMs. he will also powder coat anything haha
If you cannot wait for CRC, I’ve got a guy in Johnsburg that can do it. Excellent quality and fast turnaround.
CRC.
I wouldnt call Powdertech shady, I’ve had work done there in the past and it’s top notch, just takes some time and money. They make their money on the big jobs, so your little honda valve cover is probably not even worth their time.
I’ll recommend CRC though, good people.
troll much!?! lol
But yeah, I have talked to Epso on some powder fourms and on vortex… he is good shit and doing very well as a custom coater. Props to him for sure.
No doubt. I am hammering out work to catch up and would love to do more, but I just cant take on any more for a few weeks still. if they can wait, I can do them. if not, I have no problem suggesting to take them to someone else that is good. Some dude in Schenectady, that runs a body shop I would NOT take them to. I had a customer bring in some badly coated wheels for me to redo from there.
Thanks homie. that is true, I cant hold that against them at all. Business is business. I just dont think people like the “yeah we can do your XXXXX” and 3 months later not follow through. They also offer sandblasting services which :ninja… and turnaround time isnt up to par on that either ill just leave it at that.
