Praxair wants you...

I’m sure it depends on who/where you are in your dept./career, but I’ve noticed a lot of changes in the last couple years here…and it just happens to be at the same time that we’ve grown tremendously, shattering our #'s/goals from years past…and in my eyes, it has not had a positive impact on the employees…

I left being a contractor for Praxair to work here. Great environment here in the corporate part and if you read the public reports, they are strong financially which is good to know.

I know a lot of companies use the experience required on a job posting to give them a bit of leverage if the person tries to say they weren’t hired unjustly. I am not saying this is true about these jobs but don’t get discouraged. There is a lot of companies that will hire someone with less than desired experience if they have a will to work and they think they will blend in with the culture.

Experience gets you paid.
I need experienced help because our deadlines are really tight and my project has executive level attention.

It’s hard to bring guys up to speed fast enough to get things done.
Thats why we hired from within over a very qualified NYSpeeder. (that later found what I think might be a good job)
