presidential elections 2008

Impeachment.

You got my mind working again LOL.

Hahahahaha, did i say impalement… WOW!!!

yes impeachment is the right word. btw tell ur girl i say hi  haha!

o.O

Kudos to John McCain. Great speech there at the end. I usually didnt like his speeches, but this was great. A true american hero that man…good for him, sad to see him not win this one. Oh well, hopefully Hussein Obama makes a good president.

100%. Speech is thee most powerful form of persuasion. Say what the people want and say it competantly, hell even if you say something absurd but with the most confidence in the world, people will agree. Remember: Hitler.

I honestly dont know what this guy has up his sleeve and I havnt formed a stong opinion of him, But in the state America is in now he is going to need to be one, if not the most stong and intelligent leaders in their history to get them back on their feet.

Sit back and watch.

OBAMA!!!

BARACK ATTACK!!

Yah… and vice versa. And guess what? There are a lot more White people in America than Black people. Congratulations on making yourself look like a racist idiot.

It shows that this world is changing even if it’s just a bit. This is a HUGE historical event and I’m pretty happy to be apart of it.

I don’t know what fastback240 is talking about, but have you seen all the presidential debates? You should look at how McCain treats Obama and calls him “THAT GUY”.

Obama keeps his cool and doesn’t show his emotions, unlike McCain. A real leader has to have that to show the people he has things under control.

And that’s why the people voted him in…simple as that.

They want change, and I’m pretty happy to see him get in. Only time will tell if he will be a good president or not.

One thing though is that he has support from influential political leaders like Bill Clinton. He has the support to become a good president.

Did anyone also note his speach? He talked to people like a real person and said WE, US, instead of I and Me. This is pretty important as many political leaders always talk about Me, and I.

we can all sit here and speculate what will and won’t happen. won’t change a thing anyways. just chill the fack out sit back and enjoy the show. because this is gonna be one hell of a ride for the entire globe.

and NO i’m not being racist. just a realist.

I personally think a huge part of the Obama victory was due to McCains poor choice of a running partner.

Palin is pretty weaksauce as a leader. Just cause the general American population can empathize with a soccer mom doesnt mean she can handle managing the finances and instituting world-affecting policies; especially now that the world economy is hitting a bad recession. Seemed pretty much like a big publicity stunt as a weak appeal to attract middle-class white voters.

Hello, there are certain things that my mom always told me never to speak on because ppl have strong views 9religion, race and politics) but i couldn’t resist this.

Firstly I’m black and yes if i had a vote i’d go with Obama not because he is black but because he’s a democrat, and the working of their decision making versus the republican way of doing just seems more realiztic.

The fear of him being assasinated should be on his mind but saying as someone did point out that america is more white than black should spark the thought if all blacks voted then how did he win saying as we’d be out numbered. If at any point he is assasinated think of the aftermath. America would be seen as something it has tried so hard to conceal and frowns upon heavily.

McCain tried and he did a pretty good job might i add , Palin was a poor running mate enough said. As always the republican over looked the youth vote and that’s the real reason they lost.

Lastly a president is not an everyday person like everyone would like to think for the sole reason we don’t wake every morning and have to listen to problem of a whole country, so if he considers himself one of us and infact will listen to his minions then lets just sit back and enjoy the show because CHANGE IS GOOD.

i only watched one to be honest lol

i saw about 20 minutes of it and thats all i needed to see, and to be honest i only watched it because it was in hd and there was nothing else on.

i still think obama is a dink and his winning had NOTHING to do with his credentials.

atleast im honest, and like it or not thats why i think.

Its hard to run for president if you dont have ANY credentials.

Being president is a job…can’t get a job without a resume or someone who will vouch for your work… so obviously he has to have credentials…

So you would have contributed to America electing the least experienced president in over 100 years? In a time when America needs someone with experience the most?

This is very true actually. Every job needs one.

YES I WOULD CONTRIBUTE TO IT!.. WHY? because look at what the last 8 years have shown and i’d chose his inexperience over mccain’s / bush ignorance.
last time i checked fresh ideas comes with fresh minds and that’s what america needs. He is not a dictator so his words are not set in stone in order for him to pass anything it must be voted upon by his peers… so his inexperience plus the guidance of all the others can’t be a bad thing…

huh? He can pass whatever he wants. He’s the president. He ultimately gets the last say over every bill, unless the senate votes 2/3 against it, which is highly unlikely since the majority went to the democrats. Its a sad day, sad to see the election had to ultimately come down to race.

Who are “the others?”?
