pretty neat sequential twin turbo set up (2jz)

checked out their forum to see the other pics…

yup, its definitely sequential. i never thought of blocking the flow through a turbo after the turbine to keep it from spooling but it definitely would work.

manifold looks insane to get exhaust flow to the turbos and all that wastegate work is ridiculous lol.

i wish there were readily available large VNT turbos.

Is there a graph for that run anywhere?

wow that looks like a dam nice setup

kinda neat but it really complicates things

That’s a lot of shiny.

im sure it’s been said but that is twin NOT sequential

thats what i thought too, but look at flapper valve with the actuator downstream of the timing belt side turbo’s turbine outlet. Looks sequential to me

looks baller, way too complicated though, brings back nightmares of the FD sequential TT setup…

Woah didn’t even notice that, that is a pretty crazy setup. I was assuming it was twin as well until that was pointed out, hard to see that pipe up there.

looks…complicated

I think you are thinking of compound… like what they do with diesel pulling tractors… one turbo feeds in the inlet of the second turbo.

sequential is just when they stage the spoolup of the turbos to reduce lag.

ahh yes, the beloved staged turbo setup. Thats the easy way for 80+ psi boost haha
