all i really need is some sort of program to read a .csv file and multiply it by an amount and spit it out…
all i really need is something smart enough to read , say row B column 5 from a CSV and multiply it, then display… any ideas?

hang on, i’ll message one of my friends that uses VB a lot. might take a little while, but i’ll see what i can do.
i was just guessing that VB could do it… all i need to do is stream in a .CSV file and write a function and display the product in real-time.
i’m going to work on it… i’m just lazy
do it as a macro in excell.
what parameters are you trying to query the file on?
i could write something that will scan the file for a certain value or something…
