yeah i havent had a speedo for like 3weeks lol, but i do mostly highway driving so its kinda harder because everyoine is going the speed they shouldnt, otherwise i just look at the gear and what rpm im in as well.

Yea sorry I went off on a tangent due to my excitement of the new steering wheel. The B16 is going into a CRX eventually. Still trying to work out the whole plan still. I want to do a bunch of work to the CRX before the engine goes in, paint and wiring mostly. The other thing is I don’t see my “race” motor getting finish anytime soon so I might drop the b16 into Shrek just to drive it around and get the civic out of the shop and make room for the CRX. The CRX is starting to nickel and dim me into poverty its all the little things Im trying to track down.

Well, if the rex is becoming a money pit for you, just finish up the b16 for now and DD the shrek. This will allow you some time to sort things out with the rex.
You have two things going on right now. Focus on getting one up and running, thus allowing you time to re-coop funds, and take time doing things right on the other.
That’s what Im going to do! It was never the plan to have two projects going at once… is a money pit for sure. Hopping for a start up by the end of the month!

Another part update. After calling everyplace in town asking for Dorman plugs I found Advance Auto as them. Funny thing is they called them out under a different name and size. After going there and looking at the part it says right on it “DORMAN 555-104” Anyways .75 cents later…
Also dropped off the oil pan to have the old oil drain hole welded up!
Engine should be going in this weekend.
