Project K20 Sedan

joey when do you start the build

haha well they havent nailed me for it yet, i coast by cops in neutral :lol

January 2008 should be done by March

keep your muffler thats on it…it sounds good

Your pretty much living my dream man. I’d love to k-swap something much lighter than my S. Also kinda curious how you plan on achieving 300 whp going N/A on just a k24 bottom end and k-pro? Also what range do you think you are in for curb weight? That thing is nasty man, best of luck with the rest of the build.

my curb weight ranges from 2220-2315…im doing a few other things other than the K24 bottom end and K-Pro, it’s really starting to become difficult to find the K24 parts for less than like $900, K-Pro is going to kill me seeing as it’s over a grand, but with upgrading my 50 wet shot to direct port 100-150 shot, maybe larger? i should be into some well HP numbers, on the bottle atleast.

but as for now my parts list is:
-K24 bottom end
-K-Pro
-cams(?)
-440cc or 550cc injectors
-pistons and rings
-converting my nitrous system to direct port
-rear disk conversion
-BF Goodrich drag radials

as far as cosmetic goes my plans are:
-JDM amber corners
-black hood(?),idk i like the look of it on a white car
-Custom cage
-quick release steering wheel

Good stuff man, Im very jealous. Where do you planning on picking up K-pro? Straight from Hondata or somewhere else? Just curious and trying to find the best route for myself aswell. From what i understand so far the '05-'06 k-pro only works with an adapter harness and a modified '02-'04 ecu. Hondata wants like 1700.00 for the modded '02-'04 ecu, harness and k-pro. Thats kinda a rip in the 'ol asshole. Either way it’s a must-have. Saving money though is always good.

yeah that’s the big struggle im in with the K-Pro is bc my motor is an 05 and they don’t have K-Pro for the 05-06 yet and yeah the 1700 for the modified 02-04 is bullshit but im trying to find a used 02-04 that has already been modified or just fork out the money because it is a must if you want to do any major mods. AEM also has an EMS that will work on the 05-06 which is a little cheaper than Hondata, but this i am still doing a little research on to see whether its worth it.

dude i love this car the first time i seen it was at the chill and grill awesome car and k power ftw

oh boy youll be done a month ahead of me…but the valley opens in april so we deff have to go on the first test and tune

yeah so as soon as your ass gets home from basic training, we’re making a run and a trip to the valley :number1

shit the day im back were goin to the extention…lmao

This is a tight sleeper! Good work man.

civics are slow ::slight_smile:

:stfu
:banana
:nono

hhaha to many civics find a different project :crackup

BLACK HOOD…come on now stop being cheap and go carbon fiber :banana

carbon fiber hoods dont make you go faster…dont add HP so im not interested…waste of money, looks cool but i like the black hood look http://www.rspeed.org/forums/images/smilies/bitch_please.gif

Well bro do you w/e you like cause your car is already a beautiful sleeper :bowdown

i lightened my e36 up about 40 lbs by going carbon… if you lose a bunch of crap like a/c, interior, spare tire, jack, etc… you’ll go faster. remember… 100lbs. off is roughly equal to about 5 h.p.
