i just bought my bender so ill be making a cage by the end of next month or so i hope…bender should be here third week of march.
my cage and another buddy with a supra doing a 20point in his should look sick when its done.

Got some stuff done today. Not much since finished work at 7 and didnt feel like spending much time outside. I almost got the rest of my exhaust all tack welded i plan on finishing it tmr & also finish my ic pipes tmr drive side.
so the oil dip stick was reworked as u can see in the pic below, the FPR was installed in its spot just gotta paint the bracket & the battery box was finished up
i also got my rays 50mm lug nuts today
I agree acidz lets just go out and have fun…(i dont really care about peak power,slicks and skinnies) i do expect 600whp out of my car tho,its just too easy…
My “goal” is to run 10`s consistently on pump gas and drag radials… and to beat up on bigger and more capable rivals without trailering my car to the track! i think thats practical and achievable,what do you think about that?

to each his own! everyone`s got a different approach which is still cool. i just want to keep my car a true street car, 1 that can go fast and be reliable 90% of the time at least ,thats why i dont want to focus to much on big power we all know the 2j can make power.
A trailer is good insurance tho in the event something goes wrong,so people generally beat on the car more cause they know if it breaks they dont have to worry about towng lol

I haven’t done much in the last while due to working and just lazy when I get home…LOL
Anyways today finished up the battery setup. Wires from the battery, starter & alt to the custom fuse box area. Also got the P/S cooler all together, bolted down the cam covers & put everything into place, drilled out the hole for my O2 placement on the downpipe & got the driver side IC pipes started

Motor timing set to TDC
Sparco Wheel installed
Body Harness done
Driver side IC [ finished ]
Passenger side IC [ Tacked - will be finished march 7th ]
Exhaust O2 Bung welded [ Exhaust short of 5 welds from being done ]
Dump Tube 1 weld short of being done
Custom coolant overflow tank [ need a level put in and a cap ]
Not Done Yet! Need a cap setup and a level.

Dump tube weld came out a bit bad on that one, but the O2 bung is in!!
