"Heres the rough plan for the build, should make an easy 600hp or so to start with so he can get used to driving it, should have no problem going bottom 9’s with that much power.

Motor - AMS built shortblock, sleeved, o-ringed, rods, pistons, all the goodies you can get in a shortblock

  • heads are ported with oversize valves, and big cams customer had head work done so I don’t know every detail
  • cosworth intake manifold with 72mm skunk2 drive by wire throttle body
  • Custom STM built forward facing turbo kit, PTE 6765, exhaust out the bumper
  • STM built air to water intercooler setup with ice box
  • STM built fuel system with 2 gallon cell up front, weldon fuel pump and regulator and pro classic lines

Drivline - PPG 6 speed dogbox built from 05 STI trans

  • Exedy triple disk clutch
  • 05 sti rear end
  • DSS 1000hp one piece carbon fiber driveshaft
  • DSS stage 5+ axles with hubs
  • white line lateral links
  • TSS Fab chromoly front and rear subframes, and rear trailing arms
  • STM built chromoly trans and diff mounts
  • Brakeman drag brakes front and rear
  • Custom STM spec D2 drag coilovers

electrical - 05 STI AEM EMS

  • full 05 STI wire harness swap to work with AEM, drive by wire, and adjustable cams
  • all in one gauge cluster with sensors - forget the brand name on it

other - STM built 12-14 point roll cage NHRA certified for 8.50’s

  • carbon fiber roof
  • fully stripped interior, all extra metal cut out for weight savings
  • STM lexan window kit for all windows, door windows will be bolted in place

That’s all the important stuff, there’s plenty more little stuff that will go in as well, but the pictures will cover the rest.

Why water-air intercooler over air-air?

I’m not familiar with the car or setup so excuse the stupid question. I’m sure you have a good reason.

I have the feeling this is being done for reasons other than “wallet taking” as I remember emery saying the guy who owns the car is a friend or something of the likes. Awesome build guys!
