Province-wide NECC meet! August 7th Red Deer- UPDATED

Matt if you need a ride you can come with us, you might have to fight my buddy to the death for shotgun though haha

See you guys at 10

see you all there

Excellent turnout guys! Was a great time. See you all again next summer for NECC’s Alberta II.

Great meeting more of you edmonton guys…

hopefully I can make it up for a meet this summer. Good time guys. Great turnout.

Next year though, Cruise to Sylvan, “THEN” BBQ.

… you know guys dont wanna do shit after they cram their piehole.

Great turnout, good food (minus the escaping smokie), wicked cars, nice people, perfect weather, couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Props to the organizers!

We got good use out of that smokie though. :E

Had a great time at the meet but next time, cruise THEN eat for sure.

Yeah - too bad the smokie didn’t stick around in my fart can too long. I thought the water bottle was a nice touch though guys, thanks.

Yeah next time we will have to tell everyone to eat beforehand. Half of the people were starving to death and half wanted to cruise.

Thanks again to everyone for coming out.

Apparently there were a few complaints from others using the park about a couple skylines racing around the parking lot. Obviously NECC as a whole has been labelled, so hopefully next time the culprits can try to refrain from driving crazy and giving the club a bad name. The CSCC club also received some flak because of these guys, so they’re not too happy.

Yeah I think I am starting to sound like a broken record, but if you are going to be at an NECC event and have NECC stickers on your car please refrain from driving like an asshole.

Everyone in the club can imagine how fast any given car is judging by the engine and mods. There is no need to prove it in the parking lot of a venue that gave us permission to use their property.

I agree. This will be delt with shortly! :axe:

Just to clarify with everyone, I only drove over to the bulding (forget what it’s called) so I could take a leak. Then we went over to the autocross to check it out up close for a minute and headed back. I wasn’t racing around the parking lot, burning out or anything stupid like that.

This was my first time out at an NECC meet as an official member, and I was impressed at how everyone behaved and were really nice to chat with.

Yeah I didnt see you racing around at all. It was only one car that I saw.

yea i must say we were all quite well behavied on the highway down to Red Deer.
the way up on the other hand, when we were stopped in traffic that was just fun!

Cant wait for the next club highway rip :E

The cruise from Cagary to Red Deer was a pretty good time. Lots of dirty looks from old people in SUV’s.

har har har, the highway traffic jam was a riot…

And yeah, I watched Qualthar driving through the parking lot - I didn’t even hear his BOV, so no way was he being agressive.

I guess I could have got a complaint when I took Rob (RS13) on a circle ride around a light standard to show him my new suspension - but I still wasn’t going that fast and the nearest people were 500 feet away…

I only recall the yellow one driving fast…anyways I’m sure it won’t happen again. So who’s bringing cookies for the CSCC guys next time? haha

it doesnt go slow…people just have to face it.

^^ :rofl what kind of mph at the 1/4mile?
