Check this thread out, now PRP has shut down their forum section because too many people are complaining on there. That place is retarded!!
wow that sux. glad no one got hurt.
That place is a freaking joke. Last year Habs got hit in the leg with a piece of flying gravel and had to get stitches in his shin.
shit hole
PRP Is far from a shit hole. Quakercity is a joke compared to PRP. I was @ norwalk last year and my car got hit with a rock. Shits happens. And it can happen anywhere.
it always happens at PRP!
i heard mikey was bitching and crying like a baby. this came from someone who was standing beside him when it happened. Things like that happen when you rush to be the first person in the staging lanes.
The waiver you sign is thier for a reason.
I am sorry PRP is a crap hole and 99% of the money they make is from the street cars and they treat us like crap. they don’t bother spraying for us and we pay for the VHT. I am sorry but the waiver is to protect them from law suits from racing accidents not piss poor track managment and cleaning.
vht dont really matter to me cuz im slow but i agree 100% with the above statement
its sucks but there are worse tracks longisland dragway is alot worse they havnet swept the line since they opened
BSD while a redneck track at least has big metal panels that are behind the burnout box so u dont kick rocks on anyone and also for the fwd guys u can drive around the burnout box !!! prp needs to widen the burnoutbox area n get those panels !!! cheap way to fix things
I can see that none of you people were there when it was “keystone”.
tons better than keystone days… however, they do need to do something about gravel. as there is no way that every piece of gravel will come off the tires coming up to the staging lanes/burnout box. even grass would be better than gravel.
my suggestion is to not have cars stage behind the burnout box. wait in the pits until it is time to run.
also, dont watch behind burnout box…
They should make gates of some sort that can block any flying material.
its safer to race on the street lol
maybe they could also put rubber/foam pads on the gaurd r :kekegay: ails for the people who can’t drive.
I don’t see why they don’t use the lanes in front of the tower, call one class at a time and run them through there. I have been to PRP and Keystone for 20 years and i do apreciate the improvements but not the type of cold shoulder that the street cars get. I also know the risks of racing but i would like to think any risks that can be avoided should be taken care of. I have a lot of money and more importantly time in my car and i like to keep it nice so i don’t think it is too much to ask of them to find a solution. Some people with beaters may think this is crying but the guys with nice cars and a lot of time invested know where im coming from.
lol I guess you haven’t most of the guys on this site. vaportrail, pewter and lou have been racing there since probably before you were born.
and yes it has improved but there is no need for gravel on a track. they say we can’t drive around the box because of stones on the tire that need flung off. just get rid of the stones and the problem is solved
very well said lou. by the way I am the guy that was airing the tires up with eric the night he did 11.8 at the tower and we were BSing
with u big boy,
