Pulling my hair out...

Ive got an 86 300zx non turbo in the shop, the timing skipped so we took the heads off to make sure there was no damage, there wasn’t any so got the heads machined, did the timing belt, plugs wires cap rotor and ignition coil. we have spark, compression and fuel. but the thing is only running on three cylinders still. i made sure the distributor was properly lined up w/ tdc when it was going back together. im at a total loss right now. it had been sitting for over 8 years, so god only knows… any suggestions??
