has anyone used, or are familiar with “pulstar” spark plugs? I got good feedback from the internet, and Horsepower TV did tests and got good results. thanks for everyones input.
its all hype
because you should believe everything you read on the internet and tv.
the info is out there… just asking about actual, non-corporate results, if any.
just seeing if the reports are accurate, and if any of you guys have tried them. thanks
well horsepower is gonna obviously say they are good because they are paying the bills for horsepower. thats why i dont believe anything on those shows about new products etc etc. youll prob pick up 1.2 hp and .03 mpg not worth it in my honest opinion. i would just get NGK or stock ones.
you are probably correct, but someone has to try them out. but with cadillacs finiky computer/sensor system it may cause an issue.
the damn battery has a sensor to prevent owners from putting no other than an AC Delco battery.lol.
thats interesting. but the theory Pulstar is claiming is accurate. the question is… do the plugs do what they claim…?
yeah they make your engine run. still no drop in miracle. need 2 stickers for that.
very true. thanks for your input. people in these forums are very helpful.
100% pure BS. if you believe that go out and buy these plugs they will ****in work awesome for you.
i worked for 4 years for AAA installing batteries i can honestly say i have put in more then 50 batteries in cadi’s they are a pain in the ass because they are under a support that goes to the fender from the rad support. and that battery was a exide battery from AAA. you are a tool and need to stop believing what people advertise.
maybe you should only install AC Delco brand gasoline in it then
with all do respect, i am a mechanical engineer: B.S. Carnegie Mellon 2005University. and you go and try install a different battery in a newer cadillac and see if it starts.
the battery is located in different places on almost all cadillac.
my 2003 eldorado is on the passanger side in the front of the car. my CTS has it mountes up near the firewall on the passanger side. my dads STS is on the drivers side.
*200 eldorado, 2003 CTS. excuse the error.
man i thought CMU had a quality engineering program. i will bet $100 actually ill make that $500 bucs we go to a dealer that has a few used 03-04 cadi’s and there are other batteries besides ac delco and they start up. and i will wager just as much that we can put an advance auto brand battery in your car and it will fire up. and on a side note
i just drove the boss’s 08 f350 and it had on the gas cap recommended only BP gas and i put in sheetz will that void the warrenty mr engineer???

Review
Just a word to the wise. Cadillac patented all parts for this car right down to the battery. There is a microchip in the battery that ensures you buy an AC delco. I had to have some repairs done on the head gasket seals and the power steering had a leak, and the repairs cost over $2,300 just for those two. If you are thinking about buying a CTS and expect to “trick” the car by buying other parts, just look for a different car because I had the battery replaced with a non-AC Delco battery and the car didn’t detect the microchip and told OnStar I stole the vehicle and they disabled the car until I replaced it with good old AC Delco. If you are rich, this is a good car for you.
Note to self. Don’t ever spend 150k on a education and try to prove the hands on people wrong…
x2!
I know more then the kids just getting out of rosedale…
I watched some kid straight out of rosedale at firestone try to rotate my girlfriend’s tires in an X pattern. they were directional tires!
I called him a retard and did it myself
that last thread made no sense. and who spent the $150, 000 on their education? i started the thread to ask advice. not to be insulted. apparently you are insecure or you would not attempt to insult people who are humble to ask other peoples advice. thank you to the others who were helpful.
so why didnt you do it yourself :hahano:
my fault wasn’t trying to be a dick. Just was reminding myself. I forget things easily.
have you seen my xbox controller?
no harm done “shaggy”. don’t worry the math and science clouds my common sense sometimes and its nice to get help from true hands on techs and tuners. it is helpful that i do work in research and development, so im using lathes and milling machines. if not for that and the minor assembly work in our testing i would not know how to change a spark plug.
