You’re going to have problems at idle and very low flow numbers, since the mafs is registering less than 1% total flow it isn’t very accurate.
I see I see, to much of a problem???
and will it make any other difference to my car, like I do not know hahah good differences?? or not untill I get the go fast bits in??
I want to follow your Steps to 300WHP
Do you have any engine management?
It’s not just plug and play.
You know I do not yet.
I want to also get an safc
Get it before you put the maf on, but after you finish paying me.
If you are going SAFC – I would not suggest a Q45 maf … I would suggest the more common Z32 MAF
Z32 mafs is tuned for stable idle while still reading high airflow numbers, Z32 is better in almost all cases except maybe cost.
You shouldn’t have too many problems with Q45 mafs so long as your s-afc is tuned well.
You need an S-AFC to run the Q45 mafs, you could run larger injectors but the car would be so off from an AFR standpoint that i’d be surprised if you even made more power at all.
ok, well I was only going to run it becasue it is free for a while, Maybe Ill take it and then not install it untill next year with a Safc2/t28/ and 550’s
I’ll buy your Q45 maf if the price is right
It is not mine, A friend just said I could use it for a while if I needed it
