quad alignment?

So my one front wheel tips in a bit and the handlebars arent quite straight on my quad.

It seems like it needs an alignment. I dont see anything obviously bent. I dont remember hitting anything hard enough to bend anything either but maybe I did at some point.

What needs to be done and who can do it?

best way is to set a striaght 2x4 at the rear wheel set handlebar straight and adj as needed no quad is realy dead on but get it real close

I suppose thats worth a shot. Im just afraid of fucking something up, thats all.

Whats to fuck up? The tie rods are easy to get to on that thing

ur service manual tells u exactly how to do it and the measurment’s !!!

I dont have a service manual, just an owners manual. I didnt check that.

One time I did an alignment on a truck and made it worse. I just didnt want to do that to the quad.

wrap a string around all the wheels and measure 10mm from the back of ur front wheels for your toe out. pretty simple.

didnt even think that quads could get out of alignment :lol

wow.

Ill have to play with it when I get a chance to.

Where do you even ride this quad if you live in rotterdam?

Plenty of trails and railroad tracks to ride on. I just put it in my truck and park the truck at people’s houses and head out from there.

I just lined it up using 2x4’s. Hopefully its right- the wheels looked like they were right. I double checked my brothers quad (same quad) and it seemed to match.
One side was way out of alignment.

told ya it was easy

Yeah, it sure was. Took about 10 minutes to do both sides. All I needed was two 14mm wrenches and the 2x4.
It might not be totally perfect but atleast the handle bars are straight now.

mine toe in a little bit on both sides…but I have a +3 Long travel front end and its supposed to do this…

I did clip another quad in a race with my 05 450R and you could say the one side was out of alignment

its common for one side to be toed in a little bit more then the other just because.

I probably whacked something while riding at some point. I ride thru the woods alot and Ive hit a few trees and rocks over time but I honestly dont know where or when I made the handlebars not straight.

Theyre straight now though.
