Quad Talk

so back to quad talk…

whose gonna stud up this winter besides me??

I just got ANOTHER mother fuckin flat the other day. Im seriously going to invent a FULL rubber tire :lol

lol…

your running a tubeless setup right? Why do you keep getting flats?

Yeah, idk man, we ride the tracks ALOT, but were usually doing about 55-70mph, so i would think it would be tough to get a flat, but who knows :nuts

are your tires sealing the beads on the rims??? I have blown tires off the rims before because I have bent the rim beads.

sounds like you need bead locks!

what tires are you running…Holeshots?

UMMM NO. Your quad topped out at like 62mph at the valley bitch!

Actually that was in the 1/8th, and it was 68 BITCH. At least get your facts right before you try to flame somone. And since the valley, its been geared, and has a bit more power :stfu

I was running the factory Dunlop’s, then i picked up a set from PCI not too long ago, I forget the brand but they were pretty meaty…

fuck that, they suck…

get turf tamers or ITP Holeshots.

I really wish I picked up the set of free quad tires and wheels by my house a month or so ago. I think there might only have been one rear though.

I couldve used them for studs or sold them but I was thinking I didnt need them because my tires are brand new.

I definately need to adjust my suspension. The rear slides around way too easily around corners. Thats why I couldnt keep up at the track around the dump- I was sliding too much around the turns and didnt want to roll it.

the rear end sliding around corners hasto do more with the tires and tire pressure…too stiff of suspension will make you feel tipsy, and not hook up…soft rear shock will spin less, corner better and hang the wheels out of the corner if your hooking right…you always want your rear shock soft, and your fronts hard…its really trial and error.

let me guess…Stock dunlop tires?? they came on my 450R back when I bought it brand new…I rolled it 4 times in my first race with it because the tires sucked nuts sack and slide around like no tomarrow.

I havent touched the suspension since I bought it so I dont even know what its set at.

The tires are the stock Dunlops and theyre staying because I cant afford another set right now. Theyre good on the trails and railroad tracks.

what size rim is your rear wheels? I have tires up the ass here…atleast 10 different sets…I wouldnt mind selling you a rear pair for dirt cheap if I have a matching rim size.

Turf tamers huh? Any idea what they go for??

Ill have to check later. Really money’s a bit tight right now with Mustang expenses, Christmas, bills and I think my other car needs two tires.

I have a extra set here :ninja

what size rim??

The stock tire size was 20X11X9 i believe…

damn mine are all 8" rim I think.

Shiiiit :lol I know pauly just bought 2 rears and they were 130 a piece!! :ohnoes

Did he get a nut for the side that fell off?

I just looked and my wheels are also 9’s.
