Actually its 1 in 3 people have a type of HPV virus which causes warts in ANY place in the body. If you get a wart on your finger for no reason you have a type of HPV virus and they are all related. Most of the time they lay dormint. And they won’t occur in the same exact place twice.

EDIT - I get skin tabs on my neck where my chain sits and had one on my side I had to have removed when I was in 10th grade (right on the belt line) that got irritated from my hockey equipment. I thought it was warts and looked a tone of information up. doc said its two different things. Skin tabs no one really know why they form or what causes them. They usually from where skin is folded a lot though - Eye lids, neck, arm pits, ETC…

Correct… just like genital warts, the HPV virus causes warts on hands, feet, genitals, etc. Just a different form of the virus.
