Just wondering, there is a sensor on the stock intake box on the S13. I am guessing it is a air temp sensor, can anyone confirm that?
While installing a cold air intake, is it necessary to have this sensor hookup or I can just unplug it ? any side effect of discarting this sensor ?
Yeah it is the IAT and it needs to be pluged in.
Weather it dangles somewhere in the engine bay
or you retro fit it into the intake it doesn’t matter.
I just ziptied to the maf housing and it works fine.
