ok well i had my license suspended for a year in april 09 so i got my restricted license and I got a turning signal ticket that summer. So now my license is “revoked” until april '11 does that make sense? and am i able to obtain a motorcycle permit or a license in any other state?
Pretty sure you can move to a new state and with legal residency apply for a new license. States don’t share license information, so as long as you apply for a new license it should be fine.
What you can’t do is just hop over to PA as a NY resident and apply for a PA license. Any other state will want to see proof of legal residency of that state.
Bottom line, don’t break the law while driving on a restricted license. See you on the roads in 2011.

you might be able to get it in another state, but you still won’t be allowed to drive in nys if you are revoked in nys and have a valid out of state license.
