question for nyspeeders!??!

who here belongs to any of the nissan/sr20 forums that has an intimate knowledge of people.swaps within the forum.

my question is this. a friend of mine is swapping his K series motor/trans/diff from his '95 240SX and he wants to know if the R33 Gts-s diff. he got will fit in his stock rear cradle with little to no modification?
(i.e, he wants to know if he can leave his stock cradle in and just swap out the diff/ axles from his Gts-s donor?)

I know I can’t help answer the question but I’m pretty sure newman or orignalsin will know. Maybe try PMing them.

Or posting this on a 240sx forum instead of nagging a specific person, as silly as that would sound.

Found quite a bit of information regarding diff swaps. But not really anything specific to this particular diff, and question.

<<----this guys lazy and need sleep.

stickies galore on other forums, but the general awnser is: if its an r200 and not a 220, it will fit without a problem, axels though may not

yea, you need an r200 diff and 6 bolt axels for it to bolt it. otherwise, you gotta mod it.

yep if its an r200 your good to go

r200 is not a direct swap. you need 6 bolt output shafts. i bought a r200 out of a z32 na. the na’s have the same gear ratio as the 240’s and the tt’s are a little taller. i bought the rear end and then bought some s14 6 bolt vlsd diff output shafts and slid them in.
