what do some of you know about this perticular turbo
Mitsubishi TD06-17G they say its liquid cooled thats fed from the cooling system. do you need to use this or etc and how good is this turbo
also whats the A/R on these turbos

you dont need to run coolent threw them but it helps the turbo last longer
thats where i got the numbers off the turbo from. im looking to see what the A/R is
what trim it is and etc
is there any disadvantages to using this turbo
its small? not a huge power output

i was going to use 2 of them
tyhoon turbo
intake wheel(can be made a 20g or up to 57 mm in the stock housing with porting)
exhaust(can be changed to 8-14 ect)need convertor
advantages- quick spool up
disadvantages-wategate hole incredibley small will always boost creep and cant floor it in od or 30+ lbs will occur-(port and buy a good wastegate)

There is no such thing as a 17G. The correct Mitsubishi part name is 17c. The Mitsu lineup consists of 14B, 16G, 17C, 19C, 18G, 20G 25G. Then there are some others in between for 3000GTs of I believe 9B, 12G, 13G, 15G.(not sure on all of these ones)

so it sounds like these arent agood turbos to run?

The turbo moves ALOT of air. Its really a good turbo at low boost. Your not going to run anything above 19psi productivley. So just have a good intercooler system. The turbo is known to blow alot of hot air…
go fur it! cheap way out, they will be fine…it worked well on the turbo bike!
if you are running a twin setup you should have relitevely good luck with them
one is plenty for a n/a built block
17cs are cheap and there are a ton of cores out there that can be upgraded.
jjs has at least 1 and i think its a 20g
