Because 56k modem is an outdated device which should only be used to send or receive facsimiles in business application. People post rude remarks like that in order to persuade those who have 56k to go out and get a highspeed connection. At least that’s what I think 
56k death applies to posts with large picture or many pictures.
Because it’s so slow it would take a VERY long time to load up the post, thats why people post warnings, so 56k owners dont have to spend 10minutes loading up images.
i want to know why it resulted to such evil comments tho lol
