Question to those running KA-T

Had a few questions regarding those involved with/using a KA-T set-up!

Those who installed the KA-T, is your set up a custom assortment of parts or a Turbo KA Kit???

Any companies you would recommend to get the complete kit from?

Any problems with adding Boost to a KA and what will it take as far as PSI? (7PSI no problem??? Right?)

Any info would be helpful!

Stay away from Boost Designs…

Have you found a major price difference between the two? or can you mix and match your kit and still come out at the same price range of those Stage one Turbo Kits for the KA

there is a group buy on IAP turbo kits in the group buy section. I think they have the best kit out there from what i have seen/heard. im sure you could build one for cheaper but this one comes with everything (even a snickers bar to take a brake) and includes high quality components.

Well my set up is custom and for now I’ll only be running 7psi ish after I finish installing a couple more things and get it tunned.

I’ll let you know how it turns out.

i have had it maxed out at 32psi for a few seconds…but it was leaning out…and i dont think its that safe for the engine

My boost gauge didn’t even go to 32 :frowning:

not sure how high my blitz ID unit goes too? it goes to at least 32psi, since i disconnected the wastegate one day just to see how much boost my new turbo could provide…32psi was the max…at least in 1st gear…just basically spun the tires
