Looking for a new exhaust…as mine is really freaking loud and its starting to get on my nerves…( 3 inch megan with 4 1/2 inch outlet on the tip…+ the screamer pipe from the wastegate gives you a headache once in a while) Anyways just looking for some input on good exhausts that are nice and quiet when just cruising but something that still sounds good at WOT. I’ve heard RSR makes pretty quiet ones…but is that the only company out there? any input is good unless dosent have anything to do with my question! thanks guys!
I got the 3" Circuit sports exhaust. It has three inch all the way to the muffler with two 2.5" pipes coming out at a slight angle. It has a resonator and isn’t that noisy (exactly what I was looking for 
). Keeping in mind that i have an rb (don’t know what a sr or ka sounds like) and no cat.
I really like the low tone and stock-esque look of it. Very non-heat score.
Well my downpipe is 2’5 inch then bolts up to the 3" megan exhaust with no cat either…nor a silencer or anything on the tip…and yea its really heatscore…i get pulled over ALL the time…i tihnk i have about 6 exhaust tickets now :twisted:
get an Apexi ECV(Exhaust Control Valve) that you can set at different levels to quieten your exhaust for normal driving. I have them on all my cars and are so good on highway driving and also going in and out of my neighborhood at early/late hours. I am not going to get a restrictive exhaust just because of sound. So get a silencer and/or Apexi ECV
Or you could go with magnaflow. They are nice, not loud.
I just gave away my kakimoto resonated ehaust to a buddy. it was deep at high rpm and almost dissaperd lower down…was a sick sleeper exhaust.

RSR Exmag is loud! It’s not ridiculous at idle, but when the WG opens up holy hell. When I’m in another car and a friend rips my car past, it hurts my ears. I like it though.

Werd i didnt find it to be very quiet either, especially when u open it up.
My WG is open dump…External gate soo…no matter what exhaust i get it’s not going to quiet that down…but im looking for something to just quiet down while im just cuirsing as stated in my first post. I dont care how loud it is at WOT…i love the sound of my car at WOT but its giving me headaches here and there when im cruising around the that exhaust sound is just buzzing in my ears for hours…its brutal on highway trips aswell.

My neighbour’s complained so i took my exhaust off.
I had Jason weld in a magnaflow muffler to my 3 inch exhaust and its a lot nicer now at highway speed.
