i was surprised no one had posted this here yet…

RIP

The man died doing something he loved. RIP.

Also suprised it wasn’t posted here already…

R.I.P.

RIP.

its terrible to see something like that. he was awesome.

RIP !

that crash looked horrible

RIP

Man - hell of a crash. I’m sure he would have been proud.

RIP

is there a video or pics of the crash ?

every time i click on photos or video on there site…i get some error

Just search for his name on youtube

i think that’s because people keep posting it on those sites and then it gets “flagged” and taken down because its pretty graphic, disrespectful, and fucked up that people want to watch someone die.

he didn’t die during the crash. he died from injuries directly related to the crash, it’s a fine line.

I don’t see how it’s disrespectful, I do agree it’s pretty graphic though.

it’s not really disrespectful as he was being televised…

i was following the aftermath about 1hr after it(the crash) happened. their was a thread on mototalk.com about it. i didn’t post anything here cause i figured noone here cared.

Yea, I saw a few threads on it over at thumpertalk.com. If it’s not a camaro or honda, Pittspeed doesn’t seem care too much.

Here’s a link to the accident. You have to log into your youtube account to view and/or prove you’re over 18.

RIP Jeremy Lusk - so young and talented.

It was bound to happen to someone in the sport sooner or later. Terrible to hear though. Those guys cheat death every day of the week.

exactly. fmx, on the highest level, is basically to the point right now where you have to do the craziest trick while flipping or 360-ing to win. its just insane. very cool to watch, but unfortunatley things like this are very likely to happen too. even on the smaller scale of fmx (like the small tours that come through Mellon Arena) if you dont flip, you dont win. there are like 6-8 guys that compete and the 1 or 2 of them that have the flip in their arsenal will win no matter what. but if anyone went to that show a couple weeks ago, they saw that guy wreck very similar to what happened to Lusk

Yea, I was at the fmx show at mellon arena. That guy was lucky he got up and walked away, it was a pretty hard hit.

all of the “extreme” sports are getting crazy. go on youtube and watch any of the red bull things, everything from mountain bikes to snowmobiles to motocross is crazy now. Some guy even tried a double backflip on a snowmobile at the xgames this year, that
